סימן עו סעיף יא

זְמַן תְּפִלַּת מוּסָף הוּא מִיָּד אַחַר תְּפִלַּת שַׁחֲרִית, וְאֵין לְאַחֲרָה יוֹתֵר מֵעַד סוֹף שֶׁבַע שָׁעוֹת. וְאִם הִתְפַּלֵּל אוֹתָהּ אַחַר שֶׁבַע שָׁעוֹת, נִקְרָא פּושֵׁעַ, וְאַף עַל פִּי כֵן יָצָא יְדֵי חוֹבָתוֹ, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁזְמַנָּה כָּל הַיּוֹם.

The time for the Mussaf service is immediately after the Shacharis service. And it must not be delayed later than the end of the seventh hour.³²The preferable time for the Mussaf offering in the Holy Temple was until the end of the seventh hour of the day. The person who recites Mussaf after seven hours is called a transgressor, but nevertheless his obligation is fulfilled because the time (for reciting Mussaf) is all day.
