סימן צו סעיף י

סוּמָא אֵינוֹ מְבָרֵךְ עַל הַנֵּר. וּמִי שֶׁאֵינוֹ מֵרִיחַ לֹא יְבָרֵךְ עַל הַבְּשָׂמִים (רצז רצח).

One who is blind does not recite a berachah over the candle. One who has no sense of smell does not recite a berachah over besamim.³²Shulchan Aruch 297: 5. Nor does he recite these berachos for others. [Taz; Magein Avraham; Vilna Gaon etc. unlike the ruling of the Shulchan Aruch]

תנא דבי אליהו כל השונה הלכות בכל יום מובטח לו שהוא בן העולם הבא שנאמר הליכות עולם לו אל תקרי הליכות אלא הלכות (נדה ע"ג.)
