סימן קכד סעיף י

סִיכָה גַּם כֵּן אֵינָהּ אֲסוּרָה אֶלָּא שֶׁל תַּעֲנוּג, אֲבָל מִי שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ חֲטָטִין אוֹ לְצֹרֶךְ שְׁאָר רְפוּאָה, מֻתָּר לָסוּךְ (תקנד תריד).

Applying cream, too, is forbidden only, if it is done for pleasure.²⁰It is, however, permitted to apply cream etc., in order to remove perspiration. (see Biyur Halachah 554:15) But a person who has pimples or needs it for any other medical treatment, may apply cream or ointment.
