סימן קפח סעיף ג

חַיָב לִשְׁמֹר אֶת הַפִּקָּדוֹן בְּאֹפֶן הַיוֹתֵר טוֹב כְּפִי הַדֶּרֶךְ לִשְׁמֹר חֲפָצִים כָּאֵלּוּ. וַאֲפִלּוּ אִם הוּא אֵינוֹ מְדַקְדֵק כָּל כָּךְ בִּשְׁמִירַת חֲפָצִים שֶׁלּוֹ בַּפִּקָּדוֹן, חַיָב לְדַקְדֵּק יוֹתֵר.

It is your duty to safeguard the deposit in the most effective manner, in accordance with the accepted manner of safeguarding such articles. Even though you are not so particular to guard your own property so carefully, nevertheless with property entrusted to you, you must take special care.
