סימן מו סעיף כז

תַּנּוּר שֶׁזָּב בְּקַּרְקַע שֶׁלּוֹ שֻׁמָּן אוֹ חָלָב, צָרִיךְ הֶסֵּק כַּדִּין, עַד שֶׁיֵּלְכוּ הַגֶּחָלִים עַל פְּנֵי כֻלּוֹ וְיִתְלַבֵּן (סִימָן צז קכא ובחכ"א ומ"א באוֹרַח חַיִּים סִימָן תסא).

If animal fat or milk overflowed on the floor of an oven,⁹The oven referred to here is the old brick oven in which the food and bread were placed directly on the floor of the oven. the oven must be cleansed by glowing heat in accordance with halachah, that is to say, glowing coals must be spread over the whole floor of the oven until it becomes white hot.
