סימן עו סעיף ז

אֵין אוֹמְרִים אוֹתָהּ אֶלָּא בְּמִנְיָן קָבוּעַ. אֲבָל בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁאֵין מִתְפַּלְּלִין בַּעֲשָׂרָה אֶלָּא בְּאַקְרַאי, כְּגוֹן בְּבֵית הֶחָתָן אוֹ בְּבֵית הָאָבֵל, אֵין אוֹמְרִים אוֹתָהּ. וְאִם קָבְעוּ מָקוֹם לְהִתְפַּלֵּל בַּעֲשָׂרָה אֵיזֶה שָׁבוּעוֹת, כְּמוֹ בִּירִדִים, יֵשׁ לְאָמְרָהּ (רסח).

It is not said unless there is a permanent minyon. But in a place where ten people pray only on occasion as in the house of a bridegroom, or in the house of a mourner, it is not said.¹³See Shulchan Aruch 268: 10. If a place was established wherein ten Jews would pray for several¹⁴According to Taz, Mishnah Berurah and others, the text should read: אֵיזֶה יָמִים—several days. weeks, as at a market-fair, Magein avos is said.

תנא דבי אליהו כל השונה הלכות בכל יום מובטח לו שהוא בן העולם הבא שנאמר הליכות עולם לו אל תקרי הליכות אלא הלכות (נדה ע"ג.)
