גַּם מְלָאכָה אֵין לַעֲשׂוֹת קֹדֶם הַבְדָּלָה, וְהַנָּשִׁים שֶׁצְּרִיכוֹת לְהַדְלִיק נֵרוֹת קֹדֶם הַבְדָּלָה, יֹאמְרוּ תְּחִלָּה, בָּרוּךְ הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחֹל, בֵּין אוֹר לְחֹשֶׁךְ, בֵּין יִשְֹרָאֵל לָעַמִּים, בֵּין יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי לְשֵׁשֶׁת יְמֵי הַמַּעֲשֶׂה, בָּרוּךְ הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחֹל. וְאִם חַל יוֹם טוֹב בְּיוֹם רִאשׁוֹן, יְסַיְמוּ הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְקֹדֶשׁ.
