סימן קלג סעיף טז

מִי שֶׁאֲחָזוֹ בֻלְמוּס, וְהוּא חֹלִי מֵחֲמַת רְעָבוֹן, וְסִימָנָיו שֶׁעֵינָיו כֵּהוֹת וְאֵינוֹ יָכוֹל לִרְאוֹת, מַאֲכִילִין אוֹתוֹ עַד שֶׁיֵאוֹרוּ עֵינָיו.

If someone is overcome by a voracious, ravenous hunger, and he is famished to the point of being sick, his symptoms being weakening eyesight and impaired vision, you may give him food until he regains his clear eyesight.²⁰In this circumstance, the previous qualifications concerning amounts and time intervals need not be followed. (Ibid 618:26)
