סימן קצו סעיף יז

אוֹנֵן בְּאוֹר לְאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר בְּנִיסָן, יַעֲשֶׂה שְּׁלִיחַ לִבְדֹּק אֶת הֶחָמֵץ, וְכָל חֲמִירָא וְכוּ' יֹאמַר בְּעַצְמוֹ.

If a person is an onein on the night of the fourteenth day of Nisan, he should appoint an agent to search for chametz, but he himself should recite, "Kol Chamirah.¹⁸Kol Chamirah is the declaration whereby a person nulifies all leaven in his possession and causes it to be ownerless.
