סימן קצח סעיף ה

אִם יֵשׁ שְׁנֵי מֵתִים, זֶה שֶׁמֵּת תְּחִלָּה מוֹצִיאִין אוֹתוֹ תְּחִלָּה, וְאַחַר כָּךְ אֶת הַשֵּׁנִי. וּלְאַחַר שֶׁקָּבְרוּ אֶת הָרִאשׁוֹן, אֵין עוֹמְדִין עָלָיו בְּשׁוּרָה, וְאֵין אוֹמְרִים עָלָיו בִּרְכַּת אֲבֵלִים וְתַנְחוּמֵי אֲבֵלִים, כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא לְעַכֵּב קְבוּרַת הַשֵׁנִי. אִם רוֹצִים לְהָלִין אֶת הָרִאשׁוֹן מִפְּנֵי כְבוֹדוֹ, אֵין מְעַכְּבִין אֶת הַשֵּׁנִי בִּשְׁבִיל זֶה, אֶלָּא קוֹבְרִין אוֹתוֹ מִיָד.

If there are two persons awaiting burial, the one who died first should be taken out for burial first, and then the second. After burial of the first one, they should not arrange themselves in rows, nor should they say the beracha of mourners, or console the mourners, so as not to delay the burial of the second. If they wish to delay the burial of the first one, in order to do him honor, the burial of the second should not be delayed because of him, but he should be buried immediately.
